Who we are
Tailored Technology Services is a managed IT and cybersecurity provider with offices in Irvine, CA; Fort Collins, CO; Mt. Juliet, TN. Our website is https://tailoredtech.net. Phone: (949) 570-0203.
Information we collect
Information you submit. When you use a contact form, request a conversation, or email us, we receive the details you provide. That typically includes name, work email, phone number, company, and a short description of your needs.
SMS and mobile. If you provide a mobile number and agree to receive texts, we use that number to respond about your inquiry or support matter. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. You can opt out by replying STOP.
Technical data. Like most websites, our hosts and security tools may process IP address, browser type, approximate location derived from IP, pages viewed, and timestamps. This is used for security, reliability, and basic traffic understanding. When analytics or advertising cookies are on, Google Analytics and Google Ads also receive this kind of technical data.
How we use information
- Respond to inquiries and provide managed IT, security, and related services
- Operate, secure, and improve the website
- Meet legal, contractual, and insurance obligations
- With your direction, support client environments under a separate services agreement
Cookies and similar technologies
A banner on this site offers three choices: Essential only, Analytics, and Accept all. Your choice is stored in your browser (local storage key tts_cookie_consent). To change it at any time, use Cookie preferences in the footer. That shows the banner again with your current setting marked. It does not erase that setting, so closing the banner without pressing anything leaves your choice exactly as it was. Only the three buttons change it.
Defaults differ by region, so the banner says something different in each.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, analytics and advertising storage start off. Nothing is measured and no advertising cookie is set before you choose, so the banner there is a request and it stays until you answer it.
In the United States and other countries outside that list, analytics and advertising storage start on. That means Google Analytics and the Google Ads advertising cookie (_gcl_au) are already active when the page loads, before you have pressed anything. The banner there is a notice rather than a request: it tells you they are on and gives you Essential only and Analytics to switch them off. Those buttons send a real withdrawal to Google, not just a note to ourselves. You can also close the notice without changing anything, which records only that you saw it (local storage key tts_cookie_notice_seen) and stores no consent choice.
A stored choice is read before any tag is configured and is applied as the starting state for that visit, not as a correction afterwards. So if you pick Essential only, advertising storage is off from the first moment of every later page load rather than being switched on and then off again.
Essential. Needed to run the site and to remember this choice. These stay on for every visitor.
Analytics. Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-7MJ1CXH01H), loaded through Google Tag Manager. Used to count visits and see which pages are used. On when the stored choice is Analytics or Accept all, and on from page load for visitors outside the EEA, UK, and Switzerland until they pick Essential only.
Advertising. Google Ads (conversion ID AW-817893017), loaded through the same Tag Manager container. Used for conversion measurement and remarketing when advertising storage is on. Its cookie is named _gcl_au. On when the stored choice is Accept all, and on from page load for visitors outside the EEA, UK, and Switzerland until they pick Essential only or Analytics.
Ad click and landing page measurement. A first-party cookie named tts_click_ids records how you reached us, for 90 days, which matches the Google Ads click window. It can hold the click identifier from a Google Ads link (gclid, gbraid, or wbraid), the time we first saw it, and the market landing page you arrived on. If you arrive from one of our ads it holds both. If you arrive without an ad click and land on one of our market pages, such as the Orange County or Fort Collins page, it holds only that page's market. We use it to connect a form submission back to the campaign or the page that led to it, so we can tell what produces real enquiries. It holds no name, email, or message text.
The two parts need different permissions, because they are different kinds of information. A click identifier is advertising data and needs advertising storage. A market landing page on its own is simply which of our pages you arrived on, so it needs analytics storage and nothing more.
In practice that means: on Accept all we keep both. On Analytics we keep the market and delete the click identifier, including its timestamp, so choosing Analytics after arriving from an ad removes the ad part and leaves the rest. On Essential only we keep neither, and choosing it deletes anything already stored. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland both advertising and analytics storage start off, so visitors there receive no part of this cookie unless they choose Analytics or Accept all, whether they arrived from an ad or not. Where nothing is written, the same values are held for the current browsing session only and are gone when you close the tab.
We may load fonts or other static assets from third-party content networks. Those providers can receive standard technical request data (such as IP address) under their own policies.
Customer satisfaction ratings. Pages that show our satisfaction ratings do not load anything from SmileBack, the ConnectWise product we use to collect them. We fetch the ratings ourselves when the site is built and publish them as ordinary text, so your browser never contacts SmileBack and SmileBack receives nothing about your visit. Comments appear only where the client gave us permission to share them.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We do not share mobile opt-in data for third-party marketing.
When analytics or advertising cookies are on, we disclose online identifiers (such as cookie IDs, IP address, and pages viewed) to Google so Google Analytics can measure traffic and Google Ads can measure conversions and, when advertising storage is granted, support remarketing. That disclosure is not a sale.
We use service providers who help us host the site, deliver email, process forms, and run our business (for example, cloud hosting and professional tools). They are allowed to use information only to perform work for us. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
Client environments and services data
If you become a client, handling of systems data, credentials, and personal information inside your environment is governed by your services agreement, any Data Processing Agreement, and related schedules. See our Legal page for current contract documents.
Retention
Inquiry records are kept as long as needed to respond and for ordinary business, legal, and accounting periods. Server and security logs are retained for shorter operational windows unless a longer period is required for an investigation or legal hold.
California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, and to opt out of certain sharing that qualifies as a “sale” or “share” under California law. We do not sell personal information. We do disclose online identifiers to Google for analytics, conversion measurement, and remarketing when those cookies are on, as described above. We do not share mobile opt-in data with third parties for their marketing.
To exercise a privacy request, email info@tailoredtech.net with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. We will verify the request and respond as required by applicable law.
Children
This site is directed to business customers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 through the marketing site.
Changes
We may update this policy as our site or practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means the revised policy applies to new collection going forward.
